Sadness is a very useful emotion. Without it we would know what happiness is, and we may not be able to temper our anger. Most people who experienced too much sadness experienced some form of anger, whether they are aware of it or not. When drawing up some families don't allow their children to show their anger. Thus they form a deep anger that comes is expressed the form of being sad.
Anger and sadness are perfectly normal emotions to have. My clientele who has chosen to work with me has learned to very effectively utilize more appropriate emotions and to get past old reactions. In effect, thoughts that used to arouse feelings of sadness and or anger have evolved to the point where they choose another emotion or set of emotions which is a lot more beneficial for them. The result is gaining more enjoyment out of life, feeling happier and having a brighter outlook on the world.

Where will we be without the useful aspects of stress and anxiety? When used effectively stress and anxiety are used by individuals, groups and teams to spur success in effect to do better and Excel. Past trauma comes in many forms. The most common form of trauma that is commonly discussed is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This is actually the least common form of post traumatic stress. Some forms of post traumatic stress occur very quickly, instantaneously when a very powerful fear is aroused by a sudden event.
The most common form of post traumatic stress is created very slowly. This type of post traumatic stress occurs when there are repeated stressful events of the same nature that arouse some form of fear or anxiety or maybe another type of emotion. A combination of emotions can also be aroused as well.
A common form of this is when a young child believes he/she is repeatedly traumatized by well-meaning parents and other family members. This type can also occur among friends/peers. The resulting emotion is slight but when added to prior emotional events, the effect compounds. The result is some type of reaction.
The good thing is that my use of hypnosis and NLP can very effectively and quickly alleviate such stresses, even when they are deeply buried. You owe it to yourself to get all the relief so that you can let go of the past, and lead the type of life that you want to live.
Overcome irrational fears and Phobias. Have you ever watched a Hypnotherapist or NLP Coach such as Tony Robbins help someone overcome a phobia or fear? Tony successfully helped one of his seminar attendees overcome her phobia of snakes. After a treatment of less than one hour she easily overcame her fear then began holding a snake with a surprised smile on her face.
Fear is a very important, useul emotion as well. It's the "flight response" that we've heard so much about. Obviously there are times when you want to fear something. However fear is frequently used in industrial societies as a means of controlling another's behavior which prevents you from doing things that you might otherwise enjoy doing.
There are literally hundreds of fears and phobias. They are all rooted in providing an imagined form of protection to the individual. In most cases by avoiding what one fears they are also avoiding something that could bring them great joy, happiness and an overall good experience.
My use of NLP and hypnosis helps people relearn how and when to apply fear or other sensitive emotions to those situations that they once feared. As this is done you can function normally in what once were fearful/phobic situations.
Thus you can be free from the fear of animals, stage fright and fear of speaking to groups, free from the fear of animals, water, driving, getting into a relationship, etc. etc. etc.
